BJessie graduated from University of Miami, FL, with a degree in music performance.  He then went on to study with Phil Woods, Dave Liebman and Lee Konitz.  Soon after, he toured with Phil Woods’ Big Band in Europe and the U. S.  He has lived and played around in Norway for two years.
