Tamer in the WHLI studio with Dean Anthony

July 10, 2003 at the WHLI studio (Farmingdale, NY) WHLI,
is the New York areaÍs largest light jazz and standards station
(and the second largest in the nation).æ Program Directoræ Dean
Anthony added The Nearness of You, Shall We Dance and Bye, Bye,
Blackbird from TamerÍs Beginning to See the Light to the playlist
in June 2002.æ On July 10, 2003, while on Long Island for the annual
Fan Club luncheon, Tamer was invited into the studio and interviewed
live, on-the-air by Anthony, also the morning DJ.
Dean Anthony passed away in October of 2003, making Tamer one of
his last interviews.æ The Fan Club would like to take this opportunity
to thank Dean Anthony and WHLI for their support of Tamer and other
independent musicians playing the standards. |
